Do You Have A Trademark that Everyone Would Know It’s You Whether You Said Your Name or Your Blog Name? Plus, Weekly Updates #BookBloggerHop #bookish #discussionpost

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blogs.

Do you have a “trademark” that everyone would know it’s you whether you said your name or your blog name?

Well, my name is in my blog name so I guess I don’t need a trademark. Though using my title of “Lady” from the bit of land I own in Ireland might could be a trademark. If nothing else, it is a way to distinguish me from any other Tessa(s) 😂

I survived going to the car dealerships to help my daughter with looking and test driving but just barely. My body has an interesting initial reaction to stress and has since I was a kid. When I get stressed, one of my lips swells. It’s very strange. Well, by Sunday my top lip was working it’s way to twice its normal size. It’s going back to normal now. Yay! And she has decided on a car, so now it’s my husband’s turn.

My week was pretty good otherwise. I was so focused on the car stuff that I really don’t remember much about the rest.😂

How was your week?

  1. You’re my only Tessa so it feels unique to me💜 My avatar is the same I’ve used for over ten years now, not only on my blog but just about everywhere else except Twitter. I used to have a personal account but when the site got weird last year, I disabled it.

Congrats on the car! I don’t envy you. Isn’t it interesting how stress can manifest itself in us?

    1. With the blogs, I’ve only seen one other Tessa. On instagram, though, someone recently even took my old handle which was tessatalksbooks (I changed it to tessa.talks.books about a year ago) and I’ve seen a lot of other Tessa’s Since I’m trying out the verified thing, use my own picture, and I had to put my last name (which is unique in itself) that makes it uniquely me I guess.

  2. Glad you made it through at the car dealership! Those places can be so stressful and luckily I have only had to deal with it once since I have bought two of my cars from my parents lol.

  3. I don’t think I do? Glad your daughter decided on a car and that’s behind you. I’m also not a fan of car shopping. We’ve gone to CarMax for our boys’ cars so at least that cut out the price haggling part.

  4. I was interested in your answer to the Trademark question. I think having your name in your URL and blog title worked perfectly. I always know exactly who’s there! And Lady is a nice touch. I remember when you earned the title. 🙂 I have weird reactions to stress too, and it doesn’t even need to be a big stressor. I break out in an instant sweat – so very ladylike, I know. Glad the car shopping is over, Tessa. Happy Reading.

  5. How wonderful that your daughter picked out her new car and you were able to get over the stress that went with it. Congratulations to her. I don’t have a trademark at all, it is just lil ole me, Carla. I hope you have had a great week, Tessa.
