They really were. Not my normal types of reads but both were very interesting stories.

I plan to read Daydream next week. I hope it is fast paced as I have a feeling book I will read next this week will be slow. Great reviews!

I feel like I still say the important things I want to say but without the extra explaining that isn’t necessarily needed (hopefully 😂)

Love this format, Tessa💜 I’ve danced around Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl and now I think I’ll stop and take a hard look.

I just found it so interesting and I’m not a big historical fiction or makeup (😂) fan. Estée Lauder was really ahead of her time and a little scandalous, which made it so compelling.

These both sound like a lot of fun. My teen years were the 90s and I love books that have me feeling nostalgic. Great reviews!

They are both so much fun to read. Not my normal genre but good books are just that – good books and who doesn’t like to read a good story!

I really like this format, Tessa. It sure helps when you have multiple reviews, and I need to do this with some future posts. Very different reads – glad you enjoyed them!

I think so. It still gets the important thoughts out without burdening the reader with a bunch of words. These are my normal cup of tea but they were both so interesting.

I’m really loving this format with the bullet point reviews, Tessa.
Initially I thought I would be drawn to The Daydreams, but after reading both reviews, Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl is the one that appeals to me the most. I especially love the time frame of that one. You’re killing my TBR, LOL!

It is so compelling! Estée Lauder was really ahead of her time and even a bit scandalous. Neither is a normal read for me but they were both very good.
