I’m about halfway done with Lucy Checks In and I’m enjoying it. It’s a bit slower paced than my normal reads but it’s a shorter book so overall the book is still going pretty quick. I love the setting in France.

I finished Ashfall Prophecy yesterday and it was fine. I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as I did the first book last year – Ashfall Prophecy – but I’ve liked all of Pittacus Lore’s books that I read.
- Genre: YA SciFy

I am reading The Wedding Cake by Isabella May for a Rachel’s Random Resources blog tour. It looks like a lot of frothy fun, so I am looking forward to reading it starting tomorrow. I thought I had read another book by this author but it must have been someone by a similar name.🤷♀️

- Pages: 267 pages
- Publisher: independently published

What are you reading? Do you love it?

I hope you enjoy Lucy Checks In! I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

Currently reading ladies night by Mary Key Andrew’s and enjoying it.
Just finished Shelter in Place by Nora Robert’s. Was a good book but sad but I liked the nice ending.
I don’t know what I am going to read next. Debating tackling IT by Stephen King.

It, the book, is super scary. Way more scary than any of the movie versions. And I love Mary Kay Andrews and Nora Roberts! Excellent choices 😊 Happy reading!

I have heard. I finished Shining and it was way better then the movie. I am interested. Mary Kay and Nora are my feel good book breaks. I enjoy them. And Maeve Binchey is a favorite. She makes me happy cry haha

Lucy Checks In sounds interesting. I just returned from long weekend vacation and still not in mood for normal life, moreover, my kid is not feeling well but hopefully I’ll finish the book I started before vacation.

Thanks for letting me know. I also forgot to change the date from the 10th to the 17th 😔. Yesterday was a trying day for sure. But at least I’m reading a happy story!

I’m reading a Linda Le Plante novel about the early days of her famous detective. How she got into being a detective, and the struggles many women face in the police today.

I really enjoyed Lucy Checks In, you’re right it’s a bit slow in the middle. I love that cover of The Wedding Cake!
