Alias Emma by Ava Glass is a fast-paced – running for their lives – type of story and I always adore those in book and film. I’m about halfway in and loving it so far.
- Genre: Psychological Thriller / Spy Thriller
- Pages: 273 pages
- Publisher: Bantam (Random House)
- Publication Date: August 2, 2022

Only 22% of people who have read/reviewed Accomplished by Amanda Quain considered this a five-star read but I am one of the few. I really enjoyed this YA book inspired by Pride and Prejudice. It left me with a big smile on my face and I really can’t ask for a lot more than that.
- Genre: Contemporary Fiction (YA)
- Pages: 316 pages
- Publisher: Wednesday Books
- Publication Date: July 26, 2022

The ratings for The Stars Between Us by Cristin Terrill have me a bit nervous as they are largely 3s, but I didn’t read the author’s other books who so many people loved and naturally compared this one to. So hopefully I will enjoy it. It sounds very interesting to me.
- Genre: YA SciFy
- Pages: 371 pages
- Publisher: Wednesday Books

What are you reading? Do you love it?

I request alias emma, but I haven’t had it approved, looking forward to your review 💕

Alias Emma sounds good! I’ve just started with Lessons in Chemistry, finished The Frequency of us and need to start with a review book which name I can’t remember….
Have a good Wednesday!

These all sound interesting in very different ways. I hope you love the last one, despite what others are thinking, Tessa.

Accomplished was only a 4-star read for me. I enjoyed the story and the romance, but I felt it was bogged down a bit by all the angst and self-loathing that Georgie was up to. However, the rest of it was stellar and I’m so glad I read it.

Angst usually bothers me too but I felt a lot of empathy for Georgie. She reminded me of so many of the students I worked with.
