#BookBloggerHop | Coffee or Tea?

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Do you drink tea or coffee while reading?

(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I do drink coffee in the morning. And, if I have a chance to read in the morning, then I drink coffee while reading. The rest of the day I’m drinking ice water almost all the time, so that includes while I’m reading.

How about you – do you like coffee or tea with your book?

  1. Dry mouth, haha. I have a bad habit of getting so involved in a book that I forget to drink anything, but, when I do get around to it, it’s always water.

  2. Either, neither, water, the occasional soda, … the words are more important than the beverage 😄 I do love reading while I have my morning coffee, it’s the most relaxing thing, and one I hope I’ll have more time to do when I start my new job.

    1. I have tea sometimes during the day. I do enjoy a cup of hot tea (earl gray, orange pekot , or black tea) and I could drink chai tea constantly.

  3. I’m drinking one 16 oz thermos of coffee from about 6:30 am through about 11:00 am. It’s wonderful. I switch to water (no ice) for the rest of the day. That’s all I drink, except for the occasional cocktail on special occasions.

    1. It’s funny to me how many of us drink coffee first thing and then water for the rest of the day. I never really had thought about that before.

  4. My parents were English, so I grew up with them drinking tea, and my sisters drink tea, but I’ve never enjoyed it as much as the rest of my family. I’m a coffee drinker!

  5. Tea for me. I don’t like that my pee smells coffee after drinking one. lol. 😅 But… I rarely drink while reading, it’s just that I’m so focus on reading to notice anything around me.

  6. Neither. I’ve never cared for the taste of coffee or tea, and I’ve tried several different flavors. After having Covid, coffee is still one of the things I can’t smell.
