Sunday Post 75 | A Blur Of A Week

This week just flew by. It was really a blur, and I have no idea why or even what I was doing while it sped by. I even got way behind with Twitter, so thank you all who shared any of my posts last week.

My girls were home last weekend for Easter. We spent the day as a family doing Easter related things and had a nice dinner. Everyone loved their baskets, even though we are all adults. Your never too old for an Easter basket!

This week, I think I mostly read and wrote. I have so much spring cleaning stuff to do and things related to graduation weekend and our vacation later in May. I think I have most of the organizational pieces in place. Fingers-crossed! May is going to be a busy month in my house!

Somehow, we forgot to watch Picard for over a month, so we binge watched all of the episodes we missed this week. It’s been a very interesting season with Q and Dr. Soong, plus a young Guinan.

    So pleased you enjoyed a lovely Easter with the family, even time has flown by, and wow that is a great haul of new books, I particularly like the sound of Dark Earth! ☺ I enjoyed a chilled and quiet week, where I finished reading one book, which was the Christian non-fiction Pray For Us by Meg Hunter-Kilmer and watched Netflix’s newest true-crime limited series, Conversations With A Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes (2022).

    Sounds like you had a great Easter. It has been a short week at work, with the bank holiday Monday. Although I think after those four days I wouldn’t have minded more. We spent the day getting my granddaughter’s bedroom ready. Her first real bed to sleep in. A proper little girl’s room. Where have the years gone?

    Happy you had a great Easter and that you have some great things coming up. I went to watch a show this week, first time since Covid. We saw The Lost Kingdom with Sandra Bullock. It was hilarious and there were only 8 of us in the whole theatre. Have a great week, Tessa.
