The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

What bookish things did you receive for Christmas?
(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I mentioned on Monday that I received two signed books. The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews because I enjoyed the book so much and Give Them Lala by Lala Kent because my husband likes to be funny. Lala Kent is a Bravo “reality” star (is that the right word?) and she was lamenting because her book didn’t make the New York Times best seller list, so of course we had to help her towards that end. 🤣🤣🤣
I also received a NaNoWriMo inspiration travel cup, a slice of a tree for instagram pictures, and a few t-shirts. Not shown is a 2020 NaNoWriMo winner t-shirt.

I want the cats and books t-shirt! I didn’t get any bookish gifts, but I did get an Amazon gift card which will most likely be spent on books. I also got new earbuds – which I sometimes use to listen to audiobooks. So in a roundabout way I guess I did. Happy New Year, Tessa!
