#BookBloggerHop | Weekly Book Memes

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Question:

How many different weekly memes do you participate in besides the Book Blogger Hop?

(submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

Answer:

Aside from this weekly meme, I also participate in WWW Wednesday and Sunday Post, as many of you probably know.

I love how weekly memes inspire book chat. It doesn’t matter what genres you read, it’s all about our mutual love of reading.

When I saw the question this week, I had an idea 💡. I have had 3-4 reviews per week, as you may have noticed (I aim for just 2), so I thought it might make sense to combine Sunday Post and WWW Wednesday, at least until June, and then I can post reviews on Wednesday rather then double up some days.

So, this week I am going to try it. I will add a “WWW Wednesday on Sunday” section on my Sunday Post and will post a link to Sunday’s post on Wednesday for those of you who are interested in what I’m reading but don’t do blogging stuff on the weekend.

If I don’t like it, I will switch back to Wednesday before June but for right now, it seems like a potentially good idea, while my schedule is so crazy.

Do you participate in any weekly memes? Why or why not?

  1. I do 3 others, aside from this. It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? links up with The Sunday Post, I’ve just found another meme called Let’s Talk Bookish which I love because, as you mentioned above, it’s a great way to chat with others about books.

  2. I love the WWW Wednesday meme because you can share what you’re reading and what you’ve already read, but I’ve shied away from adding more memes on because it’s so hard for me to have a set day for something. I think you’re idea is good because so many don’t blog during the weekend.

For me, the only meme I do is Shabby Sunday, because I can do it every few weeks or even longer if I’m not ready to post. Well, of course Music Monday too.

Have a great weekend, Tessa! 💜

    1. I think Music Monday is a cool weekly meme and I loved your Shabby Sunday post. I’ve been trying to remember where I stowed away my older books ever since I saw it ❤️

  3. I don’t do any weekly memes. I’ve thought about it, but just can’t seem to fit any into my schedule. I’m also one of those bloggers who are rarely online on weekends (many times, I’m not even online on Fridays, LOL). I think if I did participate in a weekly meme it would be WWW on Wednesday. Good luck with your planned change, Tessa!

    1. Well, you do have a job outside the home if I remember correctly and then there’s that little task of writing amazing novels – with those two things it’s a wonder that you have time to write reviews ❤️
