I became an auntie for the 10th time this week, with my youngest brother and his fiancé welcoming their baby boy, Benjamin, to the world 5 weeks early. My father always wanted a grandson and now he has 7! I am very bad at boy gifts even though you’d think with all this practice, I’d be a pro.

A quick shoutout to the book I finished Friday – Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano. WOW! I don’t know if it’s still available on NetGalley but this has got to be one of the best mystery book I’ve read in a while. It’s funny in the way the movie Throw Momma from the Train is funny (the plot is nothing alike though)- that kind of humor where you can’t believe your laughing at what your laughing at but you can’t stop. Highly recommend ❤️

My husband was chosen to participate in a Covid-19 vaccine human trial. He’s been debating all week whether or not to do it. It definitely is a commitment with all the logging and testing, and such. Do you know anyone who has participated in one of these?

No more hints of snow this week but boy is it cold. Brrrrrr…🥶 You can find me bundled up in my comfy chair with a warm drink and a book.

Sprayed Edges – Neide is Portuguese but writes her blog in English. She loves YA and NA contemporary novels as well as dystopian, fantasy, thrillers, horror, and non-fiction.

The Magical World of Reading – Ana loves to read and review a wide range of genres and has a large Facebook following along with her WordPress site.

This book is on NetGalley and the widget is available on One More Chapter HC’s Facebook page for bloggers. I just love the cover. It instantly caught my eye and said, “get me now.”

As I’m writing this post up, I am also binge watching A Discovery of Witches. It is so good. I highly recommend even if you haven’t read the books. I read the trilogy as it came out, so my memory is spotty at best, but I’m still enjoying and easily following it.

I also watched the first episode of WandaVision on Disney+. It is a series about Marvel’s Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) and Vision, an android created by Ultron. I’ll be honest – I don’t get it. It bored me because I don’t understand what it is the creators are trying to do. If anyone can explain it to this non-canon-knowing lover of all things superhero, I would appreciatively read the explanation.
