With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Question:

Do you have any bookish ornaments on your Christmas tree?

(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

Answer:

I don’t, but I used to put the tree next to my bookshelves in the front bay window. The ornaments range from classic ones we were given when we got married (we got married on 12/29 so it only made sense), disney ones we collected when the girls were little, to dance inspired ones we collected as the girls got older and became dedicated dancers.

Do you have any bookish ornaments on your Christmas tree? Or if you don’t celebrate Christmas- would you have bookish ornaments?

  1. Pretty tree! No, I don’t have any bookish ornaments, but we do have an ornament of Lucy Pevensie stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia. Does that count??? 🎄

  2. No bookish ornaments here, Tessa but plenty of bookish presents under the tree! To answer kathyscottage – yes, I should the Lucy ornament does count indeed. Have a good Christmas, Tessa, covid allowing . . .

  3. I don’t have any bookish ones either – though I do like the idea of having some. The trouble is I colour theme my main tree, so it would need to match that 😂

  5. Your tree is beautiful, Tessa! A friend bought me a Harry Potter ornament and I have another that says Book Lover. When the boys were smaller, I volunteered at school a lot to help kids with reading and the teacher gave me an ornament with an adult teddy bear reading to cubs – loved it and still hang it on the tree every year.
