It’s Raining Men is a fun and touching look at that moment when you realize it’s time to move on from grief and reclaim your life.

I love the fountain and how the act of throwing coins into it led women to find love. It’s a fun little piece that adds a layer of whimsy to the story. I would think single women must have put a small fortune in there in hopes of finding the one.

The main characters, Noah and Faith are so refreshingly genuine that you can see them in people you run across every day. Hardworking, generous, and honest to a fault, they are the best parts of what everyone could be. They both have been in mourning for Ryan, who passed away five years before the story starts, and once the cloud of their grief starts to lift, they begin to see each other. It is such a sweet pairing. I was rooting for them through the entire novel.

I love the small-town setting. I grew up in a small town and could see this kind of situation quickly happening – people who have been friends forever seeing each other in a different light. When you grow up in a small town, your friends are like family, and you don’t romantically think about them unless something changes. I’ve seen that in many different instances with my high school friends.

A sweet, feel-good story, It’s Raining Men is the perfect escape during this crazy time.
