I finally got my hair cut yesterday! It was due for a trim about the time everything shut down, and I’ve just been putting it off ever since hair places reopened. But yesterday, I went in and had 4 inches chopped off. It feels so good even if I did have to wear a mask the whole time and cut hair got into the mask, tickling my nose and driving me crazy. It’s the little things that make me the happiest 😊

The author, Sandy Barker, is friends with Nina Kaye who wrote my favorite romcom of the year The Gin Lovers Guide to Dating (I may have mentioned it once or twice). So when her new book came out on NetGalley and as a blog tour with Rachel’s Random Resources, I knew I had to give it a go. And I do love Christmas stories 🎄. I like the story so far – beautiful locals with beautiful people. Not too sappy or gratuitous. And lots of Christmas cheer.

Will all three women have their Christmas wishes come true?
Christmas is coming and best friends Chloe, Jules, and Lucy are needing change… so swapping homes for the holidays could be the perfect present for all of them!
Australian Chloe spends her Christmas in a sleepy village in Oxfordshire, England. She is totally star-struck when she discovers who lives across the road.
Lucy, who has jetted off to snowy Colorado for her dream-come-true white Christmas, is taken into the fold of Jules’s loud and brash family, discovering more about herself in a few short days than she has in years.
And Jules leaves the cold climes of Colorado to spend her Christmas on a beach with Chloe’s friends in Melbourne, finding that time away is just what she needed.
The only thing better than one Christmas romance is three, and this wonderful festive novel is perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan, Holly Martin and Karen Swan.

OMG! I don’t use text speak very often but this book is so shocking and so surprising, I couldn’t figure out a better way of expressing that. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started it. But this book…OMG. If you love psychological thrillers, you will want to read this one. It’s a Rachel’s Random Resources blog tour book and my post will be out in a few weeks. It may still be available on NetGalley for anyone who is interested 🥰

The Christmas Swap kinda sounds like it’s been there so many times before but somehow still fun and engaging if you need something small and light. A little bit like a Hallmark movie. Am I right?

Definitely a Hallmark movie! You are spot on – at least up until where I am now. I will find out today if there are any big twists or surprises 😊

I’m listening to One of Us is Next by Karen McManus. I don’t normally go anywhere near YA books, but I’m enjoying it because it’s so different to my normal audiobooks.

The Christmas Swap sounds like a lovely read, I think I’m going to add that to my TBR. I love a festive read as the nights start drawing in. I have Dead Perfect on my NG shelf, I might pick that one up next too. Happy reading 🙂

I’m wondering if you enjoyed The House Mate, Tessa. Lol. All those OMGs! You made me laugh. I’m looking forward to the review. I don’t read psychological thrillers often since they sort of freak me out, but I might have to try this one. 🙂 Happy Reading.

I liked it just a little. 😍 The main character has diagnosed OCD, so you would find that interesting ❤️

I can imagine that it would increase the character’s anxiety as well as add a degree of unreliability to the narrator.

I’m such a sucker for cute Christmas covers – that first book is adorable. Kind of sounds like a Hallmark movie, lol.

Oh, totally 💯. I wonder if those movies have inspired authors of similar genres.

It is fun. Beautiful women in beautiful locales meeting gorgeous men AND three different kinds of Christmas celebrations. It’s what any good Hallmark xmas movie is made of 🥰. I have a few critiques but still enjoyed it and thought it was light holiday fun ❤️

Yayy good luck in your haircut. I have cutting mine looking at the mirror

I was doing that around my face but the back had gotten so long. The 4 inches I had cut off took it to my shoulders. Very long and very think.
