Book Description
One severed head, two warring neighbours – and a cold-blooded killer stalks Much Winchmoor. There’s the murder made to look like a tragic accident, and a missing husband. Could he be victim number two?
The tiny Somerset village is fast gaining a reputation as the murder capital of the West Country, and once again, reporter/barmaid/dog walker Kat Latcham finds herself reluctantly dragged into the investigation.
Things are looking bad for Ed Fuller, the husband of one of Kat’s oldest friends. Kat’s convinced he’s innocent – but she’s been wrong before.
Has Kat come across her biggest challenge yet?
Fans of Janet Evanovich could well enjoy this “funky, modern day nosey detective” transported to the English countryside. The third Much Winchmoor mystery is, as always, spiked with humour and sprinkled with a touch of romance.
My Thoughts
Did you see the part above where it said, “Fans of Janet Evanovich…?” Nothing more needed to be said for me to sign up for this blog tour. I’m just starting this novel, but I can’t wait to see how much it’s like one of my all-time favorite author’s books.

Book Description
How do you confront a threat that is hiding in plain sight? FBI agent Craig Frasier and psychologist Kieran Finnegan hunt an escaped serial killer in the latest explosive thriller in the New York Confidential series.
It was one of Kieran’s most chilling cases: her assessment of a murderer known as the Fireman. There was no doubt that the man needed to be locked away. Now Craig is called to a gruesome crime scene that matches the killer’s methods, and news breaks that the Fireman has escaped prison.
Amid a citywide manhunt, Kieran and Craig need to untangle a web of deceit, privilege and greed. They suspect that those closest to the killer have been drawn into his evil, or else someone is using another man’s madness and cruelty to disguise their crimes.
When their investigation brings the danger right to the doorstep of Finnegan’s Pub, Kieran and Craig will have to be smarter and bolder than ever before, because this time it’s personal, and they have everything to lose.
My Thoughts
I am always excited to read a thriller published by MIRA books because I am rarely disappointed and this book is no exception. With steamy parts that would make a romance writer blush and a thrilling plot that provided all the right goosebumps, this book just sucked me in and made me wish that the series would be picked up as a tv show or movie. It would be so gripping and wonderful checking off so many boxes: strong Irish family, creepy bad guys, action-packed, and satisfying conclusion.

My Thoughts
This is by the author of the Three, Two, One series I did reviews for a couple of months ago. I am part of a blog tour for this new series as well and I’m looking forward to reading it, since the other series was so good!

My Thoughts
After She Wrote – absolutely mind-blowing from premise to conclusion. It will be a great book to discuss with other people who have read it – there is just so many aspects you will want to talk about.
iRemember – Okay, I will be honest about how I came about reviewing this book. I originally passed it by – new author, small independent publisher, dystopian novel – I could imagine a million ways this book could go wrong and that scared me. But, a favor was asked of me, so, me being me, I took it on. Knowing all of this, I put off reading this book for as long as I could. BUT, what I actually found was a very well-written dystopian novel with a tightly structured plot. There are some issues but none that really impacted my enjoyment of it. So, all in all, I am very happy to say this is a good read with an interesting premise. ❤️
Hadn’t previously heard of any of these but Burying Bad News sounds so interesting!
